Usui Shiki Ryoho – the Usui System of Natural Healing – is a form of practice that allows the student to have contact with the energy of Reiki simply by laying on of hands in self-treatment and in the treatment of others. Reiki is a Japanese concept translated as “Universal Life-Force Energy”, a phrase used by Mikao Usui to describe the energy that he had connected with through years of self-preparation and dedication.

Although it is not mandatory, it is recommended that all interested students schedule at least one Reiki session prior to taking a Reiki class. It is important to establish a rapport with your Reiki Master Teacher who will act as your guide throughout all of your classes. Teresa will be available to consistently assist you with your personal and spiritual growth into the gentle and powerful realm of the Reiki energy. With unconditional love, Teresa has accepted her responsibility as a dynamic teacher to serve her life purpose through this beautiful ancient healing art.

In preparation for your class, it is advised that one week prior to the start of class you avoid alcohol and caffeine, follow a healthy diet, and drink plenty of water. Water conducts energy so being fully hydrated allows for an optimum experience with the Reiki energy. You may also experience flu-like symptoms leading up to the class. This is your body’s way of ridding itself of anything that no longer supports you. However, if you experience anything more than this, it is not Reiki and you should seek medical attention.

Please bring along anything you need to be comfortable for the day (a blanket, water, et cetera). You may bring along a bag lunch or there are several restaurants near by. Great Harvest Bakery is just a few doors down. You will have access to the room over lunch, so feel free to eat your lunch here.

Usui Reiki – Level I

We begin the day with a guided meditation to relax and bring your focus into alignment with the energy of the day. Learn the history of the Usui System of Natural Healing, the Reiki Principles and Precepts, and the Reiki Code of Ethics. Learn about the chakras, hand positions, treatments for others and self-treatment, sweeping the aura before and after a treatment, opening and closing your connection to Universal Life-Force Energy, and ending a treatment feeling grounded and energized.

Level 1 is an initiation into Reiki and is open to anyone. The focus during Level 1 is on opening the energy channels on a physical level, allowing one to connect to the universal life force energy, which flows in through the crown of the head and down to the heart and hands.

Included in the class are instruction, a Reiki Level I manual, the book “The Basics of Reiki”, practice with the hand positions with your classmates, your first Reiki attunement, and a certificate after completion of the class.

Your Reiki Level I attunement is an energetic process that elevates your personal frequency and opens you as a channel for the Divine energy known as Reiki. This first attunement begins a 21-day clearing process of the seven major chakras. Reiki Level I is experiential and you’ll discover its many applications in daily life.

Usui Reiki – Level II

We begin the day with a guided meditation to relax and bring your focus into alignment with the energy of the day. Reiki Level II training builds on the energy healing process taught in Reiki Level I. This class is for those who desire to expand their energy healing abilities and open themselves to the deepening power of Reiki.

Included in the class are instruction, a Reiki Level II manual, the Reiki power symbols and their use in a Reiki treatment, practice with your classmates, your second Reiki attunement, and a certificate after completion of the class. You will learn about Distant Reiki and how to send it to the past and future. We will also discuss ideas for setting up your own Reiki practice.

Your Reiki Level II attunement is an energetic process that elevates your personal frequency and opens you as a channel to the Divine energy known as Reiki. This second attunement begins a 21-day clearing process of the seven major chakras. Reiki Level II is experiential and you’ll discover its many applications in daily life.

Pre-requisite: Reiki Level I. If you have taken Reiki Level I with another master/teacher, please bring along your certificate.

Usui Reiki – Level III
Master Practitioner

Reiki Level III/Master training builds on the energy healing process taught in Reiki Level II. We will discuss Angelic energy and how to bring Angels into your healing sessions. This class is for those who desire to expand their energy healing abilities and open themselves to the deepening power of Reiki.

Included in the class are instruction, a Reiki Level III/Master manual, review of Reiki Levels I and II, the master power symbols, practice with your classmates, your Level III/Master Reiki attunement, and a certificate after completion of the class.

Your Reiki Level III/Master attunement is an energetic process that elevates your personal frequency and opens you as a channel to the Divine energy known as Reiki. This third attunement begins a 21-day clearing process of the seven major chakras. Reiki Level III/Master Practitioner is experiential and you’ll discover its many applications in daily life.

This class certifies you as a Reiki Master Practitioner. It does not certify you to teach Reiki as a Reiki Master/Teacher.

Pre-requisite: Reiki Level II. If you have taken Reiki Level II with another master/teacher, please bring along your certificate.

Crystal Healing for Beginners

When you are just starting to work with the energy of crystals, it can feel quite overwhelming. Where do you begin? What crystals or stones should you work with? How do you get the most out of your crystals and stones? This class gives you the answers to all of your crystal questions so you can get started with these amazing beings of light who wish to help you on your life’s journey.

You will learn:
– about crystals and stones and how they were formed.
– what crystals and stones can do for you in your healing or spiritual journey.
– how they work.
– which crystals or stones to choose for your needs and wants and how to use them.
– how to cleanse, charge and set an intention for your crystals and stones.
– the best crystals to start with for your crystal tool box.

You will need a pendulum for this class, so bring one along if you have one or you may purchase one from the shop on the day of the class.

Included in the class are instruction, a Crystal for Beginners manual, practice using crystals for yourself and your classmates, and a certificate after completion of the class.

Prerequisite: None, just a love and willingness to learn about crystals and stones.

Chakra Balancing

The chakras are the seven main energy centers in the body that regulate and process the flow of life force energy to the body, mind and emotions which impacts our well-being and all aspects of our lives. When you have a chakra that is blocked or the energy isn’t flowing, it can leave you feeling tired, cranky and stuck, or worse physically or mentally ill. Learn how to clear, balance and align your chakras in this class.

Included in the class are instruction, a Chakra Balancing manual, practice using the techniques taught for yourself and your classmates, and a certificate after completion of the class.

You will need a pendulum for this class, so bring one along if you have one or you may purchase one from the shop on the day of the class.

Prerequisite: None, just a willingness to learn about the chakras and how to heal them.

Pendulum Dowsing

One of the most commonly used tools for divination and dowsing is a pendulum. The art of using a pendulum is something that anyone can learn and master, and enjoy experimenting with. In this class we offer an introduction to using a pendulum from how it works, what you need, and to how to get started.

Included in the class are instruction, a Pendulum Dowsing manual, practice using the techniques taught, and a certificate after completion of the class.

You will need a pendulum for this class, so bring one along if you have one or you may purchase one from the shop on the day of the class.

Prerequisite: None, just a willingness to learn how to use a pendulum responsibly.

Create a Sacred Altar – Evening Series

An altar serves as a visual focus of your spiritual intentions, affirmations, prayers, and energy. It also serves as a place of refuge, to quiet your mind, center and ground your energy. An altar can be created in your mind’s eye, in your car or a quiet place in your home or work space. The key is to create a space that’s sacred and uplifting to you.

In this class you will decide where the best place is for you to create your altar, how to cleanse the space, choosing an intention for your altar, choosing items for your altar, and how to prepare yourself for using your altar. Teresa will demonstrate how to set up an altar for an intended purpose and handouts will be provided.

Basic Pendulum Dowsing – Evening Series

Join Teresa for a fun evening of playing with a pendulum! Teresa will teach the basics of Pendulum Dowsing such as what is pendulum dowsing?, how to choose a pendulum, how to hold your pendulum, and how to decipher your “yes” and “no” answers.

Teresa will answer your questions and you’ll leave with a better understanding of the responsibility of using a pendulum for yourself and others. You will need a pendulum for this class, so bring one along if you have one or you may purchase one in the shop before the class begins.

Usui Reiki – Master Teacher

Pre-requisite: You must hold a Reiki Master Practitioner certificate and have practiced as a Reiki Master Practitioner for six months. If you have taken your Reiki Master Practitioner class with another teacher, please bring along your certificate.

Introduction to Angel Card Reading
